About Iwan

I’m an industrial designer based in Switzerland. Notation is my independent design practice.

I’ve been working across design, engineering, product management, brand and marketing since 2012.

Before starting my own practice, I spent eight years at Sennheiser, first as Design Manager and later as Head of Global Product Design Management. Today I work independently with companies on industrial design and product innovation.

I studied Industrial Design at FHNW and later completed an MBA in Marketing Management & Business Development. Before becoming a designer, I trained in mechanical design engineering.

That combination still shapes how I work.

I care about the idea, but I also want to understand how something is engineered, manufactured, communicated and ultimately experienced by the user.

Physical products are the pivot point for all my work.
